Week 4: Where to find good sources online - Natalie Tian (LookatmiWiki)

Summarizes what I learned

I have learned one of the most important skills which is how to find good sources online. first I was introduced into Google scholar. I know that good article mostly are punished in English article English research language are the best for other language that don’t have English research it’s mean that it’s not good enough this is used to search for the results such as economic article, but it’s not free for most of article in the Google scholar. Another way to find good resources rather than Google schools are Sci-Hub which has particularly article about scientific number and data. Additionally, there is a Anna’s Archive and Internet Archive which includes many forms of media they don’t just have article books, but they also have photos, videos, and many more.

Interesting point I want to study more and try it on.

That’s now I know one of the best lessons professor gave us about where to fine good sources online now I am very interesting and trying exploring this sources, and find the information that is align with my interest, I can read I can study, and I can conduct a summary or article on Wikipedia to share to more people

Question during the class

I have questions during the class In did come up with the question about is the picture in the source like Internet Archive can be use freely add in to the wikipedia article and I get an answer that even though they have various pictures and other kind of media we still have to look at the clines if it allows to use or not. It is free to look but it doesn’t mean that we can freely use it.
