 My editing activities mainly focused on improving the overall quality of Wikipedia articles, ensuring completeness, readability, and timeliness. By adding missing information, I made certain articles more detailed, enhancing readers' understanding. Through grammar and format optimization, I improved readability and user experience. By updating information, I ensured that articles kept up with the latest developments, maintaining their relevance. Additionally, supplementing reliable sources increased the credibility of the content, reducing inaccuracies or unverified information. These efforts not only made the articles more authoritative but also contributed to the overall quality of knowledge on Wikipedia.

2. New, Interesting, or Unusual Discoveries：

 During my editing process, I not only discovered some underestimated yet highly influential articles but also noticed the contentious nature of certain content. In particular, historical and political articles often undergo frequent modifications by different editors with varying perspectives, making neutrality and the inclusion of authoritative sources crucial aspects of the editing process. Additionally, I uncovered unique aspects of Wikipedia’s community culture, such as the lively interactions and humorous exchanges within discussion pages, which made the editing experience more engaging. These discoveries have given me a deeper understanding that Wikipedia is not just a platform for knowledge sharing but also a dynamic and vibrant community.

3. Further Discussion Topics：

 During the editing process, I encountered multiple challenges, including the reliability of information sources, strict editing rules, and the long-term maintenance of articles. In certain specialized fields, finding authoritative sources can be difficult, making content accuracy a pressing issue. Additionally, Wikipedia requires all content to adhere to a neutrality policy and prohibits original research, which means editors must be especially careful with wording and phrasing to avoid bias or subjective speculation. Furthermore, articles do not remain unchanged once edited; they may be modified or even deleted by other contributors, making long-term maintenance a complex task. Therefore, how to effectively maintain article quality and ensure the continued accuracy and completeness of information remains an important issue that requires further consideration.

I made several edits to the Wikipedia page for 'Daegu'.  Daegu, located in the southeastern part of South Korea, is the third-largest urban area in the country, following Seoul and Busan.  1. Summarize in my own words of materials. The book is primarily about the openness of Wikipedia. Openness means that anyone can participate in the creation and editing of articles without any qualifications. Openness can be a double-edged sword. While it means that you can edit without having expert knowledge of a topic, it also means that you can participate even if you have expert knowledge. For experts, articles written by non-experts can come across as inaccurate knowledge, which can anger experts. This anger can also be a catalyst for Wikipedia to continue to improve. However, articles edited only by non-experts can cause misunderstandings and convey incorrect information, so openness can be considered a double-edged sword.
