Week 7 Class discussion about AI and Wikipedia -Natalie Tian (LookatmiWiki)

The things I learned

This week, I learned more about how artificial intelligence can be used to support writing, including helping with drafts and generating ideas. I found out that AI can provide answers that are very close to my own thinking, which helped me better understand the topic. I also learned how AI can support but not replace our thinking and research.


Interesting point

An interesting point for me was that the answers AI gave were very similar to my own ideas. It made me realize that I already have a good understanding of the topic, and that using AI as a tool can actually help me feel more confident and organized.


Question

How can we make sure we use AI in a smart and responsible way especially when creating something like a Wikipedia article or a school assignment?

Week1: The Experience of Editing Wikipedia-GUO YING

The editing process typically involves creating an account, selecting an article, making modifications, and submitting them for review. Week9-----WikipediaEdit--HE ZIXUAN

1. Summary This week, I participated in the editing of the Wikipedia entry "Wenchuan Earthquake". The earthquake occurred on May 12, 2008, which is one of the most serious natural disasters in China in recent years. By consulting official reports, academic literature and various documentary materials, I supplemented and corrected some of the content in the entry, especially adding more information on the background of the earthquake, rescue operations and subsequent reconstruction. 2. Interesting points During the editing process, I found interesting differences between public memory and documented records.
