Week6 -- My Wikipedia Edits -- Gaoxiaoxia

Summary

This week, I learned how to add non-free images to Wikipedia, how to transfer images from Chinese Wikipedia to English Wikipedia, and some knowledge about copyrights of Wikipedia images.

interesting point

I found that if you want to add a picture related to an artwork, game, movie or TV series, but it is not your own work, you should be careful not to add it directly using the button in the Wikipedia editor, because the picture added in this way will be directly displayed as your own picture. You need to use another button and then fill in some legal-related options and text before you can add it.

Question

Someone told me that it is OK to use AI-generated images, but I am confused because I have seen many artists hate AI images because of copyright issues. They don't like their creations being used for AI learning, so is it OK to use AI images?
