I recently edited the economic section of the Wikipedia entry "Puning", and made two important additions:（link1   link2）

Added internal links to professional terms such as "commercial circulation industry" and "labor-intensive industry" to help readers quickly understand the relevant concepts;

Added an important historical content about Puning's economic development in the early stage of reform and opening up, and described in detail the process of local state-owned enterprise reform and the rise of the private economy.

Link "commercial circulation industry" to the relevant concept page; add geographic links to "mainland China" to make professional terms easier to understand.

2.Historical details added:

Added data on Puning's commercial network covering the whole country in 1991, listed the names of 11 important enterprise groups, and described the key process of state-owned enterprise reform and private economic development.

3.Source:

Referenced to local chronicles and historical materials on reform and opening up to ensure that all data are supported by reliable sources.

3) Discussion

-The presentation of local economic history in Wikipedia is often too brief

-The importance of internal links to improve the usability of the encyclopedia

-Local characteristic economic development models deserve more attention

Week 1. My Recent Wikipedia Edits - Jeong seolah (정설아)

I made several edits to the Wikipedia page for 'Daegu'.  Daegu, located in the southeastern part of South Korea, is the third-largest urban area in the country, following Seoul and Busan. With a population exceeding 2.3 million, it is the fourth-largest metropolitan city in South Korea and the second-largest in the Yeongnam region after Busan.  1. Summarize in my own words of materials. The book is primarily about the openness of Wikipedia. Openness means that anyone can participate in the creation and editing of articles without any qualifications. Openness can be a double-edged sword. While it means that you can edit without having expert knowledge of a topic, it also means that you can participate even if you have expert knowledge. For experts, articles written by non-experts can come across as inaccurate knowledge, which can anger experts. This anger can also be a catalyst for Wikipedia to continue to improve. However, articles edited only by non-experts can cause misunderstandings and convey incorrect information, so openness can be considered a double-edged sword.
